2018 is a year of celebration and historic milestones for Sandusky, Ohio as the city celebrates its Bicentennial.
Founders’ Day Weekend is scheduled for August 18 & 19 with the Sandusky Bicentennial Parade taking place at 10a.m. on Saturday, August 18.
Focusing on the theme “Sandusky Through the Ages,” the Founders’ Day Parade will encompass businesses, organizations, schools, sports teams and music, all celebrating the past, present and future of Sandusky. With your help and creativity, we are looking for this to be the largest parade in Sandusky’s history.
Floats are welcome. Please refer to the Bicentennial Parade Polices & Procedures as you prepare for this event as all entries must adhere to the parade guidelines.
Please complete the parade application packet and return it with the appropriate payment to the City of Sandusky by Monday, June 18. We will be featuring “Up Close & Personal” parade stories. As soon as you submit your application and are accepted into the parade, you will be included in this added opportunity.
